Here is the history of the beginning, when there was no birds, fish or mountains. According to the legend, travelling Mayans went to Xcaret to be purified in sacred waters of the natural well. This natural paradise, was by about 10 centuries, the most important port and Mayan ceremonial center. Today the ecological park Xcaret presents: Underground rivers, beach of dolphins, lagoon and creek, diving and snorkel, horses, tropical aquarium, archaeological museum, sites, bird farm, pavilion of butterflies and restaurants of marine food and authenticate Mexican food.
